Poppy Playtime Chapter 3: All Secrets and Details You Might Have Missed

One of the best things about the Poppy Playtime franchise are the details and hints that are left in different locations in the game. While playing, fans are eagerly looking for clues that could reveal or at least point out any important events from the plot. Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 is not an exception as it gave us some very interesting details that delved deeper into the story.

• Cat Nap Stalking You 
• What Did the Toy Eat Inside the Factory?

Cat Nap Stalking You 

We'll start with a rather obvious one. Although there are some places where you can clearly spot Cat Nap even before encountering him officially, you might have missed some of his appearances.

For example, catch a glimpse of him climbing into that hole at the beginning of the game.

You can also see Cat Nap sneaking up on you numerous times. 

What Did the Toy Eat Inside the Factory?

Poppy revealed to us that after the Hour of Joy tapes, the toys dragged the humans below the factory and ate them. This is understandable since all toys are taught to consume human flesh.

We also find out later in the story that The Smiling Critters are controlled by The Prototype because he promises them food. It would make sense if he gained the obedience of all toys by offering them the same reward.

Miss Delight 

Miss Delight's case is a very creepy example of how the toys managed to survive in the factory. After collecting the notes in the school, we discovered that during the Hour of Joy, all of the teachers were locked inside the school. 

After starving for a while, the group of teachers came to the chilling decision to kill and eat one of them. They heartlessly chose Miss Delight, the one we meet in Chapter 3, as their victim. Desperate to save her life, Miss Delight kills the teachers and feeds on them.

On top of that, the vending machines in the building were untouched, with all the food remaining inside. This proves that the toys cannot feed on anything other than flesh.

Piggy Ate All Smiling Critters

In Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, we encounter cardboard cutouts of all the Smiling Critters. When we press Picky Piggy's button, she starts listing her favorite things to eat. However, at some point, she begins mentioning some very disturbing food choices.

Upon listening to her voice records, it becomes apparent that she was essentially describing some of the Smiling Critters members. This leads fans to believe that Picky Piggy had to eat her friends in order to survive.

The Notice Board in the School

While you are in the school, running away from Miss Delight, you can find a noticeboard in one of the rooms. There, we see a lot of attached notes that give us more in-depth information about the factory before the Hour of Joy. Here is what some of the notes revealed:

Both students and staff members started going missing a while before the Hour of Joy.

Due to the low profits of the factory, many areas and rooms were abandoned and thus restricted to the staff.

This club's purpose was to teach the children how to scare each other. This information is much creepier, considering the fact that those children were turned into the creepy toys that are trying to catch and kill us.
