What Does this Mean for Gaming?
As mentioned before, this is a huge step for AAA developers in the field of mobile gaming. Big titles are crossing the boundaries between 'causal' gaming and the real deal, exploring huge themes in a small format. This is not something completely new, but so far, devs had to compromise with the quality of their product because of the limited computing power on mobile devices. Meanwhile, Apple is using 3nm A17 Pro chipset that supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and improved graphical processing, which means it can run console-quality games.
This only makes us question what the future of gaming holds and how much more approachable and easily accessable games will become for everyone.
