Reverse 1999 Version 1.7: All Upcoming Characters

The developers behind Reverse: 1999 revealed a lot of information about their upcoming version 1.7 update, and amongst that was information about two new 6-star characters that will be joining the game with the new version.

In this article, we’ll go over each of the two new characters and give you a brief overview of what they do and if they’re worth your resources.

Isolde

Isolde is a 6-star Spirit Character and the character that will appear in the first phase of version 1.7.

From what we know from the Chinese version of Reverse: 1999, Isolde will be a top-tier support unit that will focus on follow-up attacks, buffs, debuffs, and more.

She is a character that specializes in increasing the overall damage for your team and synergizes great with almost any DPS unit in the game thanks to her ability to reduce Critical DEF and Reality DEF.

All in all, Isolde is a solid support unit that you should strongly think about getting if you wish to complete some teams and build more utility for your account.

Marcus

Marcus is your bread-and-butter DPS unit that will appear in the second phase of version 1.7 and fits nicely in the tier list but unfortunately is not at the top.

Marcus excels at dealing a ton of Burst DMG and is great at stacking Eureka to further increase personal damage.

Overall, DPS units in gacha games tend to be overshadowed quite quickly, so although Marcus places somewhat high on the tier lists, that may not be the case for long. As such, whether you decide to pull on the phase two banner is entirely up to you, but out of the two, our pick for the better character in this version goes to Isolde.
