• The chapter starts where we left off last time with Uzuki's attack on the weapon factory.
• We see Kanaguri, who surprisingly says that he "didn't expect it to go this far."
• Then we see what he talks about. Uzuki is standing next to a bunch of dead bodies, but he is still in Takamura's form.
• Kanaguri explains that at first, he didn't believe it was possible, but after witnessing Uzuki's power and behavior, he realized that it is truly Takamura inside him.
• Kanaguri asks Akira if she is okay, to which she replies that she is and says she has to stop X no matter what.
• Kanaguri warns her that it is impossible. X is now none other than the most terrifying JAA killer in the history of the Shijou Murders.
• X is thinking to himself that he proved his abilities well, while Kumanomi is calling to wake him up.

• Kumanomi says that his power is amazing, and with it, they are strong enough and don't need Raku or Haruma.
• X says something in a very low voice, and no one understands him.
• At the same time, Kanaguri starts filming them with his camera. At that moment, Uzuki suddenly attacks Kumanomi and shatters her arm.
• Everyone realizes that even Uzuki cannot control those powers, and Kumanomi starts tearing up.
• Uzuki attacks Kumanomi again, but Akira saves her.
• No one understands why he is attacking her, and while Akira guesses that it's because of Takamura's personality, Kumanomi says it's impossible since they are a family.
• Kumanomi and Akira start panicking. When Akira calls Kanaguri for help, he says his role is merely a director and she shouldn't rely on his powers. A good main character should be able to overcome such struggles with love and wisdom.

• The scene then changes to the inside of Uzuki's head where we see Takamura sitting in darkness. All of a sudden, Rion shows up and destroys him.
• We then see Uzuki saying that "that guy" is becoming too troublesome of a roommate, and it becomes clear that now Rion is in control of the body.
• That makes Kumanomi lose composure and charge at Uzuki, asking for them to give back their beacon.
• Rion slaps Kumanomi, sending her to the wall, and tells Akira to go away since she can never win.

• Akira says that just like them, Rion is also created from memories of misery. Uzuki then explains that the personality is of Rion in his memories from shooting, but Akira knows it's a lie.
• She confronts Uzuki and asks how he knows her when she has never met X. Smirking, Uzuki says that maybe it's because he used to talk about Akira so arrogantly, which leaves her super confused.
• The chapter ends with a panel of X and Rion standing next to each other.
