Set 12 Dev Drop Teaser

The teaser for the long-awaited Dev Drop was released on YouTube and the official Teamfight Tactics news page. In it, we see two of the developers of the game – one of whom is Mortdog, the lead developer and face of the team, in a rather whimsical setting.

The duo is sitting in what looks like a café with upbeat classical music in the background. The woman in the video is shown drinking tea and reading a book called “Magic for Bun Buns” with a picture of a furry character, most likely a Yordle, wearing a wizard hat on the cover. The camera then pans to Mortdog, who is also reading a book – “Mayhem for Dangos” with an old and serious-looking Yordle on the cover. On the back of the book, we see the following text:

“Everyone knows round is

the best shape. It’s the most

aerodynamic and rollable

which is super friggin important

when dealing with a Dango level

at (blur) ball energy! Speaking

of rolling. Dangos everywhere

have been (blur)ing over to

the M(blur), now that’s

going to be Mayhem!”

While the text is very blurry, combined with the video, it still gives us a glimpse into the theme of the set. A magical mayhem with plenty of Yordles and possibly brand new characters outside of the League of Legends roster! The teaser ends with the developers giving each other a fist bump that explodes into purple sparkles and reveals the name of the set: 'Magic Meets Mayhem!'
