THE FINALS Season 3 Heavy Build Weapons Tier List

With the new Season 3 for THE FINALS in full motion, many players are exploring the Japan-themed aesthetics, weapons, new map, and more features that were added recently. With all of these changes, the devs also provided some updates to the in-game balance, specifically by introducing new weapons and buffing and nerfing the remaining roster of guns. 

Given the new season, we can see the meta shift drastically not only to account for the new weapons but for the changes to the remaining guns in THE FINALS. Having that in mind, we will take a look at all of the heavy build weapons in the game and rank them according to their damage, utility, and overall performance so you can win your matches much more easily. 

Tier List Explanation

This tier list will examine all of the heavy build weapons in THE FINALS.

• B-Tier: The worst weapons currently for medium build. 
• A-Tier: Good options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
• S-Tier: The best weapons that can be used by heavy builds

NOTE: Although this tier list strives to be as objective as possible in terms of viability, you should not limit yourself to strictly adhere to this list, but rather experiment and see which weapon feels fun to play with.

THE FINALS Season 3 B-Tier Heavy Weapons

Spear 

This weapon seems buggy as you barely do any damage, and the lack of destruction makes it even worse. 

CONS

• Awful melee utility
• Inconsistent

MGL32

This grenade launcher is very inconsistent in terms of damage as the self-damage can also be rather annoying to manage when you are in close quarters. 

Flamethrower

The short range of the Flamethrower makes it very useless, especially on maps with high grounds and open spaces.  

THE FINALS Season 3 A-Tier Heavy Weapons

Sledgehammer

Possibly one of the most fun weapons with one-shot combos by using the Winch Claw. 

CONS

• Slow attack

KS-23

This shotgun's projectiles don't do consistent damage, however, you can get some snappy kills in close-range combat. 

PROS

• Decent DPS

CONS

• Inconsistent damage

SA1216

Although no major changes were introduced to the SA1216, the Winch Claw helps you effectively close the gap between your enemies and blast them down. 

THE FINALS Season 3 S-Tier Heavy Weapons

Lewis Gun

The Lewis Gun is a counterpart to the M60 as it has almost no recoil for the first 10 bullets or so, however, the pattern drastically shifts forcing you to constantly adjust your aim. 

CONS

• High recoil 

M60

The M60 is designed for players who want to relive their Rambo fantasies, as although the damage falloff is kinda annoying, you will be decimating your opponents left and right. 

PROS

• Amazing at spraying down enemies
• Practically no recoil past the first 10 shots

CONS

• Terrible recoil the first couple of shots
