The First Descendant Blair's Story

Without a doubt, Blair has one of the most interesting stories in The First Descendant. He used to serve as a cook for HQ, which isn't surprising considering how well he manages fire. He was camping when he was ambushed by a bipedal Colossus brandishing fire, so he fled to the storehouse to save his ingredients. However, he got trapped inside.

Upon returning to consciousness, Blair noticed that flames were rising from his bare hands. At that moment, he decided to train harder than anyone else to become a Descendant. Despite the fact that he achieved his goal, Blair still loves to cook, and he always brings snacks for everyone around.

The First Descendant How To Unlock Blair?

Thankfully, unlocking Blair is a very straightforward process, and it doesn't require a lot of effort. There are two ways to obtain this character. Once you have gathered all the materials you need to craft Blair, head over to Anais in the Albion Mountains and gain access to the Research Institute. You will need to pay 400,000 Gold to research him and wait 16 hours to get him.

Blair has a unique and powerful set of skills that set him apart from the other characters in The First Descendant. He has one passive skill and four active skills, and each one of them is designed to help you progress fast in the game. Let's take a look at all of Blair's skills.

Passive Skill

 

Pitmaster

• Critical Hit Damage increases when attacking enemies in Burn state. Critical Hit Chance increases depending on the number of Stoves on the battlefield.

Active Skills

 

Blaze Up

• Spurts flame to deal damage to nearby enemies and creates Stove. Stove inflicts constant damage and Burn effect to nearby enemies.

 

Extinguish

• Retrieves Stoves on the battlefield and restores Mana. Retrieving Stoves increases DEF for a short period of time.

 

Burn Taste

• Spurts flames forward. Enemies near the flames' arrival point are inflicted with constant damage and Burn effect.

 

Deadly Cuisine

• Throws a large fireball forward. It splits into small ones causing an extra explosion. Explosion damage inflicts Burn effect and creates Stove. Stove deals constant damage and inflicts Burn effect.
