The First Descendant: How to Unlock Sharen

The First Descendant has taken people by storm as more and more players are logging in to try out this new free-to-play co-op shooter RPG game with luscious visuals and rather simple mechanics. However the game has been met with harsh criticism due to its microtransactions or seemingly bland gameplay, but it is still averaging over 100K players at this time. 

With that in mind, many are already wondering how they can unlock characters in The First Descendant, so without further ado, we will show you how you can unlock Sharen in this guide. 

How to Unlock Sharen in The First Descendant

Sharen is a Close-Range Dealer Electric Descendant you can unlock by just playing the game. Although The First Descendant offers an even faster way of unlocking the character through real money spending (Caliber), you can also easily obtain the needed materials by farming them. 

NOTE: The game shows you which missions you need to complete to obtain the needed materials listed below. You simply need to look at the research blueprint in-game for Sharen.

To begin researching Sharen, you will need to speak with Anais located in the southwestern part of Albion, in the room next to the City Entrance fast-travel point. Here is a brief rundown of what you need to know about unlocking Sharen in The First Descendant:

The First Descendant Sharen Character Skills

The First Descendant can be challenging at first, what with all of the weapons and different Descendants you can use which have their own unique abilities, however, if you are looking for a Close-Range Dealer with the Electric Element then you are in luck as here are Sharen's abilities:

Passive Skill

 

Assassinator 

• Effect: Damage increases when attacking enemy that is not attacking Sharen. Killing enemies with a skill in Ambush state resets cooldown for Active Camouflage. 

Active Skills

 

Cutoff Beam 

• Fusion
• Effect: Attacks enemy with electric blade to deal damage and inflict them with Electrocute effect. 

 

Active Camouflage 

• Dimension
• Effect: Hides from enemies. When attacking or using skills, Active Camouflage state ends immediately, regardless of time remaining. When Active Camouflage state ends, Sharen enters Ambush mode, increasing damage of the next attack.  

 

Impact Rounds 

• Dimension
• Effect: Launches built-in explosives forward from the arm to stun enemies.  

 

Flash Shortsword 

• Fusion
• Effect: Targets enemies within aiming range, and throws multiple knives to attack them. Knives explode to inflict enemies with damage and Electrocute effect.
