The First Descendant: How to Unlock Yujin

The First Descendant has taken people by storm as more and more players are logging in to try out this new free-to-play co-op shooter RPG game with luscious visuals and rather simple mechanics. However the game has been met with harsh criticism due to its microtransactions or seemingly bland gameplay, but it is still averaging over 100K players at this time. 

With that in mind, many are already wondering how they can unlock characters in The First Descendant, so without further ado, we will show you how you can unlock Yujin in this guide. 

How to Unlock Yujin in The First Descendant

Yujin is a Non-Attribute Support Descendant you can unlock by just playing the game. Although The First Descendant offers an even faster way of unlocking the character through real money spending (Caliber), you can also easily obtain the needed materials by farming them. 

NOTE: The game shows you which missions you need to complete to obtain the needed materials listed below. You simply need to look at the research blueprint in-game for Yujin.

To begin researching Yujin, you will need to speak with Anais located in the southwestern part of Albion, in the room next to the City Entrance fast-travel point. Here is a brief rundown of what you need to know about unlocking Yujin in The First Descendant:

The First Descendant Yujin Character Skills

The First Descendant can be challenging at first, what with all of the weapons and different Descendants you can use which have their own unique abilities, however, if you are looking for a new Support to try out then you are in luck as here are Yujin's abilities:

Passive Skill

 

Stop Overreacting 

• Effect: Significantly reduces the time to rescue allies. Targets rescued by Yujin increases to Max HP for a certain period of time. 

Active Skills

 

Solidarity Healing 

• Singular
• Effect: Summons a Recovery Drone that attaches to allies to heal them. Recovers target and increases their ATK through an Accelerant effect upon dismissal. 

 

Restructure Serum 

• Fusion
• Effect: Fires a Restructure Serum forward, decreasing DEF and inflicting Allergy. When attacking enemies with Allergy, heals nearby allies and grants additional healing to allies who kill the enemy. 

 

Stimulant Spray 

• Singular
• Effect: Grants Stimulation to allies. While Stimulation is active, incoming DMG is reduced and recovery is received when Stimulation ends. 

 

Hyperreactive Healing Ground 

• Fusion
• Effect: Heals self and allies, granting Purification and Immunity to remove and prevent debuffs. Additional recovery is based on the number of allies and enemies within range. Yujin is granted Hyper Activity effect, increasing his ATK and skill power.
