The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Episode 8: Recap

The episode begins with the forces of the Kingdom moving further away from their lands to fight somewhere that wouldn't affect civilians. The preparation for the upcoming war reminds Rose of her old teammates.

We then get a flashback of hers, from five years ago when King Lloyd summoned all Battalion Commanders to alert them of the numerous reports of demon sightings inside human territory. The Commanders seem understandably suspicious of the demons' movements. After leaving the meeting, Rose reunites with her former group, and we finally get introduced to her allies.

One week after the initial meeting, King Lloyd gives a mission to Rose to investigate the demons' behavior and why they are killing monsters with organized strikes. She informs her team of their task, and all of them are excited to fight.

After investigating the forests during the day, the group sets up camp to rest. While everyone else was sleeping, the Deputy Commander confided in Rose about her insecurities regarding her senior position and expressed appreciation for Rose's support and understanding.

It turns out that all of the teammates were awake and listening to their conversation, creating a wholesome moment and reassuring the Deputy Commander of their support.

The next day, Rose and her subordinates come across a group of demons capturing wolf monsters. Rose then engages in a very intense fight with the leader of the demon soldiers named Nero Argence. In the next episode, we will see the continuation of their battle.
