As the much-anticipated Phantom Liberty DLC approaches for Cyberpunk 2077, fans of the franchise are gearing up to revisit the game and fine-tune their character builds in preparation for the upcoming changes. To assist players in this endeavor, the Cyberpunk 2077 website has compiled a list of three recommended builds, complete with a skill tree preset in their build planner, allowing players to preview and plan their builds before diving into the game.
While veteran Cyberpunk 2077 players may have already established and perfected their preferred builds, the Phantom Liberty DLC promises to introduce fresh possibilities, expanding the array of available character builds.
1. Bullet Time Ninja Build: This build is expected to excite players by enhancing combat speed and providing a significant power boost. It allows players to optimize their reflex skills and master the use of Katanas and other melee weapons. The DLC will introduce new finishing moves, including one that leverages Mantis Blades to swiftly eliminate enemies while closing the distance. This build also allows players to deflect bullets with their Katana and execute powerful slashing attacks that can cut enemies in half.
2. Hack & Slash Netrunner Build: For players seeking to unleash their inner hack-and-slasher, this build is tailor-made. It enables players to use hacking skills to create chaos, whether up close or at a distance. Players can hack large groups of enemies and even vehicles, causing explosions and turning mechs into allies. Additionally, the Monowire melee weapon, heavily reliant on battery power, will receive a significant buff in the DLC, making it more effective with this build.
3. Savage Slugger Solo Build: Designed for players who prefer face-to-face combat, this build emphasizes the use of heavy weapons like hammers to rush and pummel enemies. A Quake perk allows players to crush foes underfoot or throw them at other enemies. This build also includes a finisher that utilizes the Gorilla Arms implant to deliver devastating single blows or employs a powerful shotgun capable of eliminating multiple enemies with a single shot.
These are just a few examples of the builds that players can craft using the new relic skill tree introduced in the Phantom Liberty DLC. As time passes, more builds are expected to emerge and be featured on the Cyberpunk 2077 website's build planner. While these are some of the best builds players can create when the DLC launches on September 26th, the future may bring even more unique builds from players themselves.
