The first season of Tower of God aired in 2020 and has left fans waiting for updates ever since. We finally have an official announcement for the release date and some additional information you might want to check out.
Tower of God Season 2: Release Date
The premiere of the second season was teased during Crunchyroll Expo 2022. For a long time, no updates were given regarding the release. However, in August of last year, Crunchyroll finally revealed that Tower of God (Kami no Tou) Season 2 will begin in July 2024.
This time, the new season will be animated by Studio OLM. The trailer itself didn't show much to the fans. Instead of an animated trailer, it was presented as a slideshow featuring different parts of the manhwa.
Although the animation of the season was not revealed, the slideshow provided a better understanding of how much of the manhwa would be covered in the season and which scenes would be included.

Tower of God Season 2: Leaks
The first season of the anime consisted of 13 episodes. However, leaks from the end of last year suggest that Season 2 of ToG will be 2 cours (consecutive). What this means is that the anime will most likely have 25 episodes. Some sources even hinted at a potential 3-cour second season.
With multiple sources aligning on this information, fans can feel assured that Season 2 will likely surpass the length of the first one.

What Will Happen in Season 2 of ToG?
Tower of God Season 2 is expected to cover the Return of the Prince Arc and the Workshop Battle Story Arc. After the shocking end of Season 1, fans have been eagerly anticipating how the story would unfold.
In the last episode of the previous season, the main character, Baam, was brutally betrayed by his friend Rachel and presumed dead.

The second season of ToG will begin with events that take place 6 years after Baam's betrayal. However, instead of him, we will be introduced to a new character named Ja Wangnan.
The sequel to the series will offer fans many new thrilling adventures, plot twists, introductions of new characters, and even more exciting battles. One, if not the most anticipated moment that would occur during the season, is Baam's return. Fans are excited to see how he will turn out after everything that has happened to him and the 6 years he spent in the Tower.
