Granblue Fantasy: Relink recently launched to bring the popular mobile RPG to consoles in an action-packed new form. However, developer Cygames isn't done enhancing the game just yet. They have a roadmap of future updates planned to add exciting new content over time. Here's an overview of when players can expect the next Relink update and what it will include.
When is the Next Granblue Fantasy: Relink Update?
Currently, the next major update for Granblue Fantasy: Relink is Version 1.2.0 scheduled for late April 2024. While an exact release date hasn't been announced yet, Cygames confirmed the update is coming before the end of April.
The highlight of Relink's Version 1.2.0 update is the addition of two brand-new playable characters - Seofon and Tweyen. Both are members of the legendary Eternals group.
Seofon wields twin swords and unleashes devastating melee combos, while Tweyen utilizes a bow to snipe enemies and debilitate them from afar.
Players can unlock Seofon and Tweyen through regular gameplay progression. But there will also be an option to instantly add them to your roster by purchasing them.

While the 1.2.0 update is the only update with exact details right now, Cygames has hinted at further additions coming to Granblue Fantasy: Relink beyond April. A third substantial update is teased for May.
Given Relink's scope for expansions through new story quests, characters, cosmetics, and endgame challenges - players can expect plenty of support.
