Unlike the very first Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will indeed feature microtransactions when it launches.

The developers addressed this matter in a statement to TrueAchievements: “Assassin’s Creed Mirage will offer cosmetic bundles available for purchase directly on first-party stores at launch. These bundles are optional and will not impact player progression.”
So, if you wish, you can experience the entire journey of Assassin’s Creed Mirage without engaging in microtransactions. It's understandable that Ubisoft generates additional revenue through this approach, so it's not surprising to see them continue to incorporate it.
