Story
As we journey to Kazel Gath, we encounter the locals - the Earthen. This titan-forged race was made of stone infused with the essence of Azeroth's Worldsoul. They guard the Coreway - a passage to the world's core constructed by the Titans - since their creation. Visually, the Earthens have a larger stature and wear jems ems. Philosophically, they adhere to the edicts of the Titans, their creators.

The Three Groups
Despite having their own unique customs and ways of life, the Earthen live in a declining society due to differing opinions about their creators. This disagreement leads to their division into three separate groups.
Oathsworn - They adhere to the Titan edicts and protect the Coreway. Oathsworn view the other groups as wrong for not following the Titans' intended way of life.
Unbound - This group have abandoned the edicts. Their original purpose was to keep the titan installation supplied. They are primarily rural, living near natural resources.
Machine Speakers - Similar to the Unbound, they've moved away from the rules but continue to uphold their designated duties. They aren't interested in those living on the surface or those who don't comprehend machines. The homes of Machine Speakers are constructed near large industrial projects, enabling them to follow the rules. |

Unlocking the Earthen
An issue preventing the creation of new Earthens was undisclosed at BlizzCon. Our character intervenes to aid their society in coming together. Completing this quest will unlock Earthens as an allied race, available to join either the Horde or the Alliance.
