Wuthering Waves: 30 Million Global Downloads, Free 10 Pulls!

The Wuthering Waves official media channels announced today that the game had reached 30 million total downloads across all platforms worldwide.

This is a huge milestone for the game, which was only released less than three weeks ago. To celebrate the occasion, the team behind the game decided to give their players 10 Lustrous Tides (standard banner pulls), but only after drama started brewing in the community.

To celebrate this occasion, the team behind WuWa initially posted that they would be choosing 10 lucky winners to receive a reward of 10 Lustrous Tides.

Intentional Drama?

The follow-up post, expectedly, got a ton of praise from the community, and Kuro Games was once again praised as the best gacha company.

Players were happy that the free wishes were given to everyone, but at the same time, a portion of the community began to wonder whether this action was intentional or not.

The quick response by Kuro led some players in the community to believe that the decision to make the pulls available to everyone was premeditated and that Kuro was simply trying to milk their reputation as devs who listen.
