Mortefi is currently one of the best Hybrid characters in Wuthering Waves, alongside Sanhua. His Outro buff gives the next character who enters the field a large Heavy Attack increase, and his Ultimate has particular effects for heavy attackers.

Because of his mechanics, Mortefi is Jiyan's best companion for now, doing the majority of his damage with fast-hitting Heavy Attacks.

After activating his Ultimate Skill, Mortefi buffs ALL teammates, and whenever they hit an opponent, Mortefi launches a coordinated attack on them.

The Ultimate can be triggered every 0.35s for a total of 10 seconds, granting a maximum of 30 coordinated attacks; however, if the ally character executes a Heavy Attack, the amount doubles, significantly enhancing its damage output.

Overall, Mortefi is one of the strongest 4-star characters in Wuthering Waves thanks to his Jiyan synergy and his Sequences that only make him even stronger and more flexible.

Mortefi's Ultimate alone makes him a strong character, but he also has a lightning-fast Concerto rotation, which allows him to swiftly do his combo and switch out, freeing up on-field time for the main damage dealer.

On top of that, his personal damage during his time on the field is significant in itself.
