Taoqi's kit revolves around her Rocksteady shields, DEF% scaling, ability to heal, Resonance Skill Deepen Multiplier %, and a unique parrying mechanic.
Taoqi, as a support, can heal others using her Resonance Skill. This allows her to use the powerful 5P Rejuvenating Glow set without having to sacrifice her weapon, freeing up that slot for more energy or Concerto regeneration.
Taoqi's talent additionally generates a continuous 3-charge "Rocksteady Shield" that reduces damage by 15% while active and follows characters after switching, giving her a distinct advantage in the supportive lineup.
Taoqi's Outro currently conflicts with most teams that may want to use her as a support, unlike those of characters like Verina or Baizhi.
Taoqi's Outro increases the next character's Resonance Skill DMG Deepen by 38%, but only until they switch out. This boost is fantastic, but it is not the best choice for support because your hybrid is likely to already have a Deepen buff of a similar sort, causing the two to clash.

Summary
Due to her defensive nature, however, Taoqi falls behind other supports because, in Wuthering Waves, you can just avoid being hit.
While Taoqi has certain benefits and utility as a support, she can also be played as a hybrid to fully utilize her Resonance Skill Deepen DMG% bonus. In such a situation, she will adjust her concentration from being on the field for as little time as possible to generating as much Concerto as quickly as possible so that her Outro can be effective.
Unfortunately, most of the game's top-tier characters cannot currently benefit from Taoqi's Deepen buff, with almost all characters scaling far more with Liberation, Basic, or Heavy DMG%.
