Zenless Zone Zero had a great launch this week, with a ton of people logging into the game for the first time and experiencing the exciting action combat that New Eridu has to offer.
The game works in a similar fashion to Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, where players have to increase their account level to be able to level up their characters past certain points.
This naturally compels people to want to increase their Inter-Knot Level faster, and for those who’ve been struggling with it, we’re here to help you.
In this guide, we’ll share with you some of the best ways to increase your Inter-Knot level so that you can progress faster!
Table of Contents
Story Mode
The fastest and surest way to increase your Inter-Knot Level is by doing the game’s story. The chapters and missions that you complete all reward you with a good chunk of EXP, allowing you to increase your Inter-Knot Level without realizing it.
By simply doing the story, you’ll gradually increase your Inter-Knot level, and you will also unlock new features that will help you increase it even faster.

Trials
Trials are a feature that unlocks quite early in the game, and you can find the feature by pressing F2 on your keyboard.
Trials are a series of tasks that you will complete by playing the game, and each task rewards you with 100 Inter-Knot Credit and some other rewards.
By completing these rewards, you will get an extra boost in exp to increase your Inter-Knot levels.
Dailies
The dailies, or Errands, as they’re known in Zenless Zone Zero, are one of the best ways to get exp and increase your account level. You get four of them per day, each giving 150 Inter-Knot Credit and other rewards.
This means that each day you will receive a total of 600 Inter-Knot Credit if you complete all 4 errands, which can be done in under a minute. They are also your best way of farming Polychrome, so make sure to do them daily.

Side Quests
Side quests in Zenless Zone Zero are also known as Commissions, and you receive them naturally by playing through the main story, or you can also find them in the hub world by looking for a purplish exclamation mark above NPCs’ heads.
Commissions can either be Combat or Exploration and will require you to complete a stage to earn some rewards. Commissions usually give a fair amount of Inter-Knot Credits, so make sure to do them when you encounter one. They don’t take much time, and they are quite fun!

Training
Training is one of the modes that unlocks a bit further in the game and is also the mode that finally lets you spend your Battery Charge to farm materials to strengthen your character.
Battery Charge is ZZZ’s stamina, and by consuming it, you get Inter-Knot Credits.
You unlock the Training menu after unlocking the VR device, and there you can spend your Battery Charge on various challenges to get experience.
Make sure to always keep your Battery Charge below 240 so that it can continue recharging. If you don’t spend your Battery Charge, it will be stuck at 240, and you will be losing exp.

Hollow Zero
Hollow Zero is the roguelike mode that is featured in Zenless Zone Zero and is also one of the best ways to get a good amount of Inter-Knot Credits.
When you complete runs in Hollow Zero, you receive experience to increase your License Level, and when you increase your License Level, you get rewards.
Some of those rewards include 600 Inter-Knot Credits, which are a good way to boost your account level.
You should note that the amount of License experience you can earn per week is capped, so make sure to get the maximum every week so that you can boost your progression.
