Zenless Zone Zero: Star-Studded Cast Channel Details

The Star-Studded Cast Channel is the standard banner in Zenless Zone Zero, and it is also the banner that will consume a lot of your pull income.

The release of the game is tomorrow, and the developers behind ZZZ decided to share more information about the Star-Studded Cast Channel banner before the launch.

They revealed a lot of details about this banner, and in this article, we’ll walk you through how to get a guaranteed S-Rank Agent in the New Player Discount and how to get another S-Rank Agen through the New Player Guarantee, so stay tuned.

Star-Studded Cast Channel Details

The Star-Studded Cast Channel is the game’s standard banner system that is permanent. In Zenless Zone Zero, to summon on the Star-Studded Cast Channel, you will need what is called Master Tapes, which you can get through various means such as events, in-game modes, and others.

In this banner, players can obtain non-limited Signals by summoning using Master Tapes.

If you’ve played other gacha games such as Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail, you should be more than familiar with how they work.

However, to spice this banner up a bit, the developers behind Zenless Zone Zero have added two special features to it. Let’s look at them.

New Player Discount

The New Player Discount is a permanent addition to the Star-Studded Cast Channel that will make it so that you receive a discount when doing 10 pulls on the Star-Studded Cast Channel.

You receive a 20% discount when doing 10 pulls, which means that instead of 10 Master Tapes, you will only use 8 Master Tapes for a 10-pull.

NOTE: This discount only applies for the first five 10-pulls you do. Additionally, this discount is not applied to single pulls.

After the 6th 10 pull onward, each 10 pull will cost 10 Master Tapes, so take that into consideration when pulling.

New Player Guarantee

To help players start the game on the right foot, the developers behind ZZZ have made it so that everyone is guaranteed to get an S-Rank Agent in their first 50 pulls on the Star-Studded Cast Channel.

Usually, when you summon on the Star-Studded Cast Channel and receive an S-Rank Signal, you have a chance for it to be either an S-Rank Agent or an S-Rank W-Engine, but with the New Player Guarantee event in place, you are guaranteed to receive an S-Rank Agent when you first receive an S-Rank Signal.

Additionally, you are guaranteed an S-Rank Signal in your first 50 pulls on the Star-Studded Cast Channel. With the New Player Discount working alongside the New Player Guaranteed, this means that you will at most have to spend 40 Master Tapes to get your first S-Rank Agent.

NOTE: You are not guaranteed a specific S-Rank Agent, so which Agent you get is based on luck.

Once you have received your first S-Rank Signal, the New Player Guarantee will disappear, and you will continue to summon regularly on the Star-Studded Cast Channel.

Additional Recruitment

The final addition that we’ll have for the Star-Studded Cast Channel is the Additional Recruitment.

Additional Recruitment is a system that will allow you to pick and claim an S-Rank Agent once you have done a total of 300 pulls on the Star-Studded Cast Channel.

You will be able to pick one of the standard S-Rank Agents, which are:

• Lycaon (Stun - Ice)
• Nekomata (Attack - Physical)
• Grace (Anomaly - Electric)
• Rina (Support - Electric)
• Soldier 11 (Attack - Fire)
• Koleda (Stun - Fire)

NOTE: You can only pick ONE S-Rank Agent from the Additional Recruitment, and once you’ve claimed your Agent, the Additional Recruitment will disappear, so make sure to choose carefully.
