To this end we provide our terms and policies to explain the terms by which you may use our online and facility services, and clarify what you may expect from Extellent Professional Development Centers.

Extellent Professional Development Centers provides this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, disclosure and protection of information that apply to our Service, as well as your choices regarding the collection and use of information. We collect information that can be used to identify you as an individual only when you provide such information directly to us in connection with our services. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Accepted forms of payment are: check, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Debit cards are not accepted.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 72 hours (until midnight of the third day excluding Saturdays, Sunday and legal holidays) after the enrollment contact is signed. A full refund will also be made to any student who cancels the enrollment within the students first three scheduled class days, except that the school may retain not more than $100 in any administrative fees charged, as well as items of extra expense that are necessary for the portion of the program attended and stated separately on the enrollment agreement.

Additionally, Extellent Professional Development Centers reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class due to low enrollment or a scheduling conflict. In the event of a cancellation or postponement, Extellent’s liability is strictly limited to reimbursement of paid tuition and fees. An education consultant promptly contacts students in the event of a cancellation or postponement.

Special Red Hat Cancellation Policy

The policies below apply to ALL Red Hat training and certification programs:

  • Notice of cancellation or reschedule on or after the fifteenth (15th) full calendar day prior to class start date is not eligible for refund, but is eligible for reschedule.
  • Students are allowed up to 2 reschedules per class up until 15 days before the course start date.
  • Any reschedules after that point will incur a processing fee equal to 50% the published course price (MSRP). The new session date must be given at the time of the reschedule notification and rescheduled classes must be taken within one year of original invoice date.
  • Student substitutions can be made 48 hours prior to a class start.
  • If a student does not attend a scheduled session, there will be no refund or reschedule given. Payment is forfeited.

Special ScrumMaster Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or date changes must be made at least 10 days prior to the course start date or will be subject to a $150 late-move/cancellation fee. No-shows or same day move/cancellations are non-refundable.

Retake Policy

Students may retake a class for any reason, on a space available basis, for a period of up to one year from the start date of the originally scheduled class. Students must supply their original classroom manuals. Retakes for product upgrade classes will incur a fee for new books and classroom materials.

Class Audits

One to two hour class audits are permitted with prior notice. Please contact our office at (512) 346-8110 regarding audit policy and associated fees.

Students with Disabilities

Extellent Professional Development Centers does not discriminate or deny access to otherwise qualified students on the basis of disability. Depending on their documentation, students with disabilities may be eligible for reasonable accommodations and/or special services in accordance with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Students should request accommodations before the start of classes (preferably right after registration) to allow Student Disability Services time to review documentation and to make recommendations for appropriate accommodations.
