How to 'Damage Vehicles to Collect Car Parts' Fast in Fortnite

Epic Games is always introducing new quests and challenges to keep Fortnite exciting and engaging. Today, we have the fourth part of the story quest unlocked called 'Pea Bois INC.' While some quests are pretty straightforward, others can seem difficult and frustrating to complete.

One such challenge is 'Damage vehicles to collect Car Parts' In this guide, we’ll show you the fastest method to complete this quest so you don’t waste your time.

How to 'Damage Vehicles to Collect Car Parts' in Fortnite

To start this quest, first, you need to talk with the Dummy NPC, located east of the Lavis Lair POI. Check the image below for the exact location on the map.

After talking with Dummy, he will ask you to 'Damage vehicles to collect Car Parts.' The quest seems straightforward: you damage a vehicle, and once enough damage is dealt, the vehicle will drop a Car Part. There are two methods to tackle this challenge:

Normal Method

If you start shooting at vehicles, you’ll quickly notice that you need to deal a ton of damage for one Car Part to drop. You’ll need thousands of ammo and many vehicles to collect the 20 parts. This can be very time-consuming and annoying.

Fastest Method

Damaging multiple cars can take forever, so the best approach is to use the healing from the Service Station next to the Dummy NPC. Park a vehicle on it, and it will constantly heal, allowing you to damage it continuously until you have all the parts.

While shooting at the car is an option, it requires tons of ammo. A quicker method is to use a pickaxe to damage it or, as I did, use another vehicle with a Weapon Mod attached to it, which has unlimited ammo.

Whether you use your pickaxe or another vehicle with a weapon, simply damage the car until the 20 Car Parts drop. Since the vehicle is constantly healing, this won't take more than a few minutes.
