World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 4 is now live, and a lot of players are busy collecting the new runes for their class. This time around, most classes get up to 3 new runes for the final phase of SoD so players will not have to invest that much time into getting their much-needed endgame powerups. With that in mind, we have gathered all of the Paladin runes and how you can obtain them in this guide.

WoW SoD Phase 4 Paladin Runes
Here are all of the new Paladin Runes for World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 4:
Shield of Righteousness Rune
Here is the Shield of Righteousness Paladin rune as well as a short guide on how you can unlock it in WoW SoD Phase 4:
- You will need to go to Eastern Plaguelands and kill the Slack-Jawed Ghoul patrolling at /way 35 75 and /way 29 82 to get the Orthas' Favorite Gold Tooth item that allows you to release the Dwarf spirit Orthas
- Get the Dwarf's spirit hammer from the second floor of the house in Corrin's Crossing
- Loot Partially-Digested Plate Armor from any Abomination in Eastern Plaguelands, such as Abomination or Stitched Horror to get the Oh No Ye Don't! quest
- You will then need to head into Straholme Undead side and kill Maleki the Pallid to loot a runestone from him
- Then you will have to deliver the runestone to the Undercroft (the small crypt in the southwestern region /way 27.5 85) in Eastern Plaguelands
Righteous Vengeance Rune
Here is the Righteous Vengeance Paladin rune as well as a short guide on how you can unlock it in WoW SoD Phase 4:
- You will need to go to Western Plaguelands and speak with the Fallen Knight north of Dalson's Field around /way 45 46
- Then head to the barn near the NPC and talk to Squire Cuthbert at /way 47.8 50.4
- Grab a sword in the field and return it to the squire
- Complete the Clearing the Path quest that has you kill undead in the area (5x Blighted Zombies, 10x Skeletal Terrors, and 10x Rotting Cadavers) then escort Squire Cuthbert back to the body of the Fallen Knight to get the rune
Tip: Stick around as Squire Cuthbert gives you another quest for the Shock and Awe rune.
Shock and Awe Rune
Here is the Shock and Awe Paladin rune as well as a short guide on how you can unlock it in WoW SoD Phase 4:
- Talk to Squire Cuthbert in Western Plaguelands to get Dalton's Horn so you summon him and fight mobs alongside your squire
- When the squire hits Level 60, you will get a new quest that sends you to Eastern Plaguelands to find the lich Arkonos the Cursed at /way 87 40
- You will have to complete another quest that will ask you to remove the barrier surrounding the lich by killing nearby mobs until you get a drop
- Once you turn in the drop to the squire, get the quest that has you kill the lich so you can get the rune as well as Testament of Avenging Wrath Skill Book
