Diablo 4's Loot Reborn update is finally here, and with all the new additions and system changes that are part of this season, for many players it might feel like the game has finally left its early access stage. Not only is finding loot a lot more interesting and interactive with the new Tempering and Masterworking systems, but you also have many more opportunities to try out your new items against all the new endgame features that have been added to the game. Boss ladder updates, such as the inclusion of the Uber Andariel fight and the Pit of the Artificer dungeon, are just some of the new late-game activities that have been added.
Another new addition to the game are Seasonal Elixirs, which can provide players with temporary buffs that are much stronger than the regular elixirs. Using these Seasonal Elixirs is also part of the new Seasonal Journey, so in this article, we are going to go over how these elixirs work and where you can find more of them!

What Are Seasonal Elixirs in Diablo 4 Season 4?
Seasonal Elixirs are a new addition to the game since the release of Diablo 4 Season 4. Seasonal Elixirs provide powerful and unique effects at the cost of being shorter in duration and much more expensive than the regular ones. Each new season in Diablo 4 will retire the current Seasonal Elixirs, and they will be replaced by new additions, which is yet another way of keeping the game fresh and engaging every few months.
There are currently two Seasonal Elixirs in the game, with each of them providing a unique effect and a 6% increase in experience gain, while only lasting for 15 minutes. Here are the two Seasonal Elixirs that are available in Diablo 4 Season 4, as well as their effects:
- Elixir of Holy Bolts: For the next 15 minutes: After killing an enemy, holy bolts fire from the corpse of that enemy. Experience gained is increased by 6%.
- Elixir of Momentum: For the next 15 minutes: After killing an enemy, increase Movement Speed by 3% for 5 seconds, stacking up to 15 times. Experience gained is increased by 6%.

How to Get Seasonal Elixirs in Diablo 4 Season 4
There are two ways of getting Seasonal Elixirs in Diablo 4. The first way is by crafting them at the Alchemist vendor, which you can find in any major city in the game. Both of the elixirs cost 350 Murmuring Obols to craft, which is the resource you usually use to gamble for items at the Purveyor of Curiosities. There are a few different ways of getting Murmuring Obols in Diablo 4, including completing random events in the open world, opening the chest at the end of Nightmare Dungeons, as well as finishing the new Artificer’s Pit before the time runs out.
Seasonal Elixirs can also randomly drop from enemies and chests, so the second way of obtaining them is just through playing the game. It seems like they have a much higher chance of dropping within Helltides, both from defeating elites and opening Tortured Gift chests. If you don’t want to spend your Murmuring Obols in order to craft these elixirs, make sure to keep an eye on your mini-map, as they have their own ‘seasonal’ icon whenever they drop on the ground, which resembles a leaf.
That is everything you need to know about the new Seasonal Elixirs that have been introduced in Diablo 4 Season 4. The Elixir of Holy Bolts currently provides one of the strongest buffs in the game, allowing players to push much higher Pit levels than their build allows, so make sure to use it as much as possible before it inevitably gets nerfed.
