Without a doubt, V Rising is one of the most compelling games out there, and people are excited to explore all the fun activities it has to offer. There are plenty of materials that you need to learn how to farm in the game, and one of the most important ones is Gems. Most of the time, farming resources in V Rising is a relatively straightforward process.

Once you find what you need on the map, you can simply go to that area and extract whatever you want at the moment. However, players who want to repeat that for any type of Gems in V Rising might run into some trouble because Gems are not that easy to find. Moreover, they don't really spawn regularly, so we need to learn the best spots to farm crude gems, regular gems, and flawless gems. Let's dive in!

How to Use Gems in V Rising?

Gems in V Rising are resources that we use for weapons, crafting jewels, magic sources, and gem cutting. They are especially useful for obtaining Gem Dust as a by-product, as it is often the main purpose of trying to find Gems in the first place. Gems in V Rising are usually not that difficult to obtain. However, finding them might turn into a challenge, if you're not aware of the perfect locations. There are currently three types of Gems in V Rising:

They are mainly used to create Gem Dust by placing them in the Grinder, or they can be upgraded by using the Gem Cutting Table. You can obtain them by mining Gem Veins, fishing, salvaging jewels, or collecting them from enemies and V Blood Carriers after you defeat them. Gem Locations in V Rising

If you use the more traditional ways of getting Gems, you will probably be disappointed, or you'll be mostly getting only one type of Gems in V Rising. Here is a list of every type of Gem and the location where you can find the most of that type.

Crude Gems Location

The best place to look for Crude Gems is near the initial spawn teleporter on the Western Side of Farbane Woods. That area is packed with patrolling Stone Golems and gem stone nodes. The enemies that you might encounter there are not very dangerous since you'll be very close to the starting area. This is hands-down the safest and fastest way to obtain Crude Gems in V Rising, so don't hesitate to try it out!

Regular Gems Location

Regular Gems are relatively common, but you have to reach a high enough level to unlock recipes that require Regular Gems instead of Crude. In this case, the best location to farm Regular Gems would be the Dunley Farmlands. Everywhere else, including Farbane Woods, you will mostly be able to find Crude Gems. In order to get Regular Gems, you need to reach Bedrock Pass, which is an area specifically for Gem Node Spawns and Golem Patrols. If you see a castle in that area, it's because people are farming Regular Gems there.

Flawless Gems Location

Flawless Gems are the most difficult to find, and you'll definitely need more experience to do it. Choosing a specific area as the best for Flawless Gems is not an easy task since the area where they spawn is pretty dangerous. However, one place to farm a good amount of Flawless Gems is the two Harpy Nests in Silver Light Hills. If you don't want to go by yourself, don't worry; you can always send your Vampire Servants to do it for you.

How to Craft Flawless Gems in V Rising?

If you prefer not to wander around dangerous areas and you don't feel so confident in your abilities to handle them, you can always choose one convenient alternative: crafting Flawless Gems. You can do that by using lower-level Gems. However, you'll first need to defeat Terah the Geomancer and build the Gem Cutting Table.

The conversion rate for Gems in V Rising is 4 lower-tier Gems per 1 higher-tier Gem. For example, 4 Crude Amethysts will result in 1 Regular Amethyst or 4 Regular Amethysts will result in 1 Flawless Amethyst. It's important to note that if the Gem Cutter is enclosed in a Jeweler's Chamber, the ratio will be 3 to 1 instead.

How to Find Gem Stone Nodes in V Rising?

Gem stone nodes are very easy to spot in V Rising. If you see a stone with prismatic shards sticking out of the base, you'll know that you have found one of them. All you have to do is grab a mace for expeditious farming and crack away until the node disappears. Once you're done, you can collect your Gems.

Make sure to keep an eye out for any Stone Golems while you're in the area. They will definitely drop at least one Gem. In case you can't find any gem stone nodes, simply swat at the regular ones; the game will be forced to repopulate them after a while, and there will be a higher chance of getting some gem nodes.
